I suppose I don't know what I expected when I ordered this. Even though I read the specs, I didn't end up using this for under my tree as first of all, it was VERY short - I have a fake tree and they tend to have taller bases. Second, there was no structure at all. It was very flimsy and even when I tried it, it didn't hold up because of the shape and thinness of it. The buffalo plaid is really cute and I think this would be better for a smaller tree, but it wasn't for me.

I wanted something different for my tree skirt this year and I love this alternative! I have a skinny tree so I wrapped it on itself a bit, but it is staying put. It is designed for a regular sized tree, it will function opened wider for a big tree base perfectly!

This is a beautiful cloth Christmas tree skirt. I wanted to review this on to go along with my black tree with white lights. First it looks as good as it does online and maybe even better. The cloth is really clean and the backer is nice n stiff. The Velcro is well attached and when put in place makes a nice firm ring. My only CON is the stitching is bunched in some areas and makes the material wavy in spots. All in all it is a nice piece and I give it a 4 out of 5 for Price to Quality comparison. I selected this plaid tree collar because it matches well with some plaid bows that will be on the tree this year. I am happy with the quality. It is nicely made, with good stitching on the binding tape around the edges, and it has pretty colors. It comes well protected, rolled up in a box. It is simple to unroll, shape into a circle and Velcro the ends together. Looking forward to having it under the tree this year.
