So I don’t gig frogs but the person I gave this to does. Said it’s great it has a wonderful extension to it and it’s well made. Worth the money.

Nice, lightweight and sturdy. Button lock pole extension works well. Got plenty of cane toads so far. Bent one of the forks, but that happened getting em in the rocks and on the driveway. In the grass or sand and such is plenty sturdy enough.

This Gig is completely worthless! It’s like it was engineered by someone who’s never used a gig before! 1st the size of the forks is very narrow! I can except that for the cost…. But then this is where the engineered part comes in….. the outer shat of the telescoping part is the second shaft … when you go to lunge the rod your hand catches on the outside rim of the second shaft inhibiting a smooth transition… also it’s so sharp it potentially could take skin with it…. I don’t know how this ever got out of the design / testing faze …. They’re looking for a lawsuit

I use this to Kill Cane Toads in South Florida, I have killed at least 50 with it this season. The Tip does bend but I can bend it right back in place with a pair of pliers. The reverse prongs keeps the road on there until I’m ready to dispose of him. I will probably replace the head before long, but it has gotten lots of use.

Ordered 2 one for me and one for a buddy. After 2 nights of gigging the heads on both of them were falling apart. The pole is nice but the gig head is JUNK.
