The snails in the tank go to the bottom screen and eat the eggs through the screen.... Either makes the eggs bounce too much or not at all.The side arm the hose attaches too has such a short amount of space for the hose to attach to...it keeps allowing the hose to slip off.*Work in progress to make this functional for me. Adding another screen to the bottom keeps the snails off the eggs. Raising the screens higher might make the bouncing better? Attaching the hose with glue or something so it does not slide off constantly should work...that glass arm is super delicate though.Update: Just no. I added additional screens (shower head screens fit) on the top and bottom. Put hose further down the arm so it did not slip off, this does not hatch the shrimp eggs for me. I used a simple near solid mesh net over a bubbler and my little babies hatched. Just had to keep the snails out and make sure the net did not float around...easy peasy.
