I will start with I was looking forward to getting this in to make some ice cream Sundays. Well, as we were cooking the burgers, I had a thought why not try it for the pickles? It worked amazingly. It actually worked for chopping my boiled eggs for the potato salad! This truly a versatile kitchen tool. What a fun kitchen gadget! I sort of got this on a whim and hubby laughed when I showed it to him, but now we're using it almost every morning to slice up bananas for our cereal! it's so easy to use and quick to slice up soft bananas. I did try it with a cucumber but the cucumber was a bit too hard for this to slice through.The slicer is wide and long enough to fit just about any banana, with the slight curve helping as well. It's so easy, but you need to remember that the bottom piece is necessary to get your fruit out from between the blades. It also rinses and washes out easily with a soft brush.

Appears to work well and feels well made. It's on the larger side to accommodate different sized and angled bananas or other items. Very easy to use and helped to make slicing bananas for my food truck a quick and easy process

This is an easy and quick "chopper" to help you in the kitchen. Easy to clean, makes good and uniform slices. Great for cucumbers, carrots, cheese, bananas. No disassembly to wash, just run it under the faucet. Works well for most anything you may need to slice up.

I use this to slice my bananas for breakfast and it works like a charm. Easy to use versus fumbling with a cutting board and knife. I plan to try it on cucumbers as well but it seems like it would work easily. I just do a quick rinse and leave it in the dish rack to dry until the following morning. A great design and so easy to use and clean.

This arrived with damaged and dirty blades. I rinsed the blades off, but whatever grime is on them needed scrubbing to get off. I took a cotton swab to them and you can see the amount of crap that came off just one side of the blades. I don't think it's too much to expect a new $20 utensil to be clean when it arrives.

This slicer does exactly what it’s supposed to — it cuts bananas and other soft foods into even slices quickly and easily. However, I'm just not a fan. While it simplifies slicing, it creates more work when it comes to cleaning. Food gets stuck between the blades, and even though it's dishwasher safe, it still takes extra effort to fully clean it out. If you slice a lot of soft foods often, it might be helpful, but for me, it’s not worth the hassle.
