This is the second set I’ve purchased. NOT because they’ve broken, worn out, or anything like that. I use them so often, I was tired of cleaning them all the time when measuring stuff that stuck, which was really not much. I know my colors, lol, so quick to grab the ones(s) I want. I’ve used them to dig out harder ingredients, like almond butter stored in the fridge, etc. There has been no bending.These are must have in any kitchen! Also comes with a metal ring to keep them organized.

I'm 51 years old and have purchased several spoon sets throughout my years. This is the 1st set I've had that is durable, easy to see (sizing), and nice to look at. I feel like an adult when I use these. I think it is the last set I will ever need to purchase. I was recently cooking at my mom's house and had to use her unadult like plastic ones.She had a set where sizing was worn off and another set that was just plain hard to see. I ordered another set for my mother so she could feel like an adult too. Haha

Since I bake bread a lot, I like to have a couple of different sets of inexpensive measuring spoons--different sets for wet and dry ingredients, and an extra set of dry spoons to assure that the spoon I use for salt doesn't come in contact with the yeast, which would ruin it. I decided to replace my cheap plastic spoon and spotted these. They are so easy to clean, and the different colors makes it easy to distinguish between the sizes without having to read small print etching, which most measuring spoons have. Also there is a very useful 1 1/2 tsp (1/2 tbsps) measuring sppon which most sets don't have.

The color of the metal seems off, so I am not certain that they are stainless steel. There are no markings on these spoons stating that they are stainless or where they are made (yeah, we know they should have them, but they don't). However, these are very nice spoons that are not likely to last a long time. They're cute, cheerful, fun and easy-to-find. I had recently bought a namebrand set of plastic spoons here on Amazon, and the ring broke the first day, now are the spoons are scattered everywhere in the kitchen. Try finding the right size when you need it. These spoons have a very sturdy double circle ring, like a big key ring, so the spoons are going to all be together. My favorite Spoins were a set of Costplus ceramic spoons on a heavy washable ribbon that looked cute hanging off the top cabinet pull over the stove. But those spoons broke the first time they were dropped. These aren't quite as cute, but will definitely not break. So since I only measure dry ingredients and even when I do measure wet ingredients, it's only for a second, I am not overly concerned with the components in the metal. It's not like it's a dog bowl that food is sitting in and someone is licking.

I have sometimes had to convert recipes online that have measurements in metric for the measuring spoons so this is really helpful since it has both metric and standard measurements right on each spoon. I have found that liquid measuring cups already have this conversion on them.The rubber color coding will come in extra handy once I learn them all. I will be able to just grab that color and know what I am measuring. One thing I did notice is that the rubber piece in the handle is removable so if you get water in the handle that you can't get dry, you can remove it and let it air dry so it won't get moldy in there. I have noticed that some of my glass containers that have a rubber seal will get moldy if you don't take out the seal and let them dry. I don't think this will be any different. It's something to be aware of right from the start so this doesn't happen. For that reason, I didn't give it 5 stars for the easy cleaning part but as far as quality, I do give it 5 stars.These are definitely worth the price. I am glad I bought them.
