I really needed to have tailgate support, because I was helping with a cement patio build and was lining up 60 pound bags of redi-mix on my tailgate. We were mixing three bags at a time into the cement mixer, so I was lining up six bags on my tailgate at a time, so I was ready to open and pour a constant stream of bags into the mixer. One of my tailgate support cables was broken, so I ordered a set of two from Amazon. I was very disappointed when they arrived and were to long for the tailgate, which provided absolutely no support when installed. I made it through the 230 bag patios job with one side unsupported. Bummer.

these were several inches too long for my 87 mighty max, I need to find a way to shorten them and recrimp them.
