Well built, solid structure, fairly easy to assemble. The structure is held together using screws that are Allen wrench shaped, and the Allen wrench is included. The travel bag is nice, however, I don’t know that I will take it apart even for travel until it’s time to put it away for the colder months.Seems like a decent size, and the materials are a nice quality. Keep in mind this is only meant to be used with plastic balls and will not hold up to heavier balls.Good value for the money and functions as expected. I will also be using this for other purposes at tabled events for a selfie station, so multiple uses when using one’s imagination.

I picked up the Garbuildman Baseball Strike Zone Target for some backyard practice with my kids, and it’s been a solid purchase. The frame is surprisingly sturdy for something this portable, and it holds up well with both Wiffle and Blitzballs. Setup was quick—no tools needed—and it stays in place during use, even when pitches hit hard. The strike zone is clearly marked, which makes it great for training and keeping things fair during backyard games. It’s also lightweight enough to move around easily when we switch spots. Overall, great for improving pitching accuracy and having fun outdoors. Definitely recommend it for families or anyone looking to sharpen their throwing skills.

I needed something for first year kid-pitch players to practice against. While this says to only use plastic balls, I can certainly say that unless you're throwing heat, hardballs thrown by younger kids are perfectly fine. The frame is metal. It's heavy and sturdy and easy to assemble. This does claim to be portable, and maybe not quite... It's not like it folds up and tucks away in the included back. You have to fully disassemble and reassemble, which is a minimum 5-minute job requiring tools. A fair tradeoff for the excellent build quality. For as solid and sturdy as this is, it's a great value.

This is a decent target. I needed something for my soon to be “coach pitch” coach to help him aim his pitches. He said this worked really well especially for the little kids. It even helps block missed balls. It was fairly easy to put together. The size was perfect for t-ball aged kids and a little older. The frame moves around a lot in transit and if it gets nudged too hard but I’m hoping it’s durable enough for a couple seasons. The only thing that bothers me is that you have to assemble with two hex keys. So the portability isn’t the best. It’s not a quick set up and tear down situation. I would have much preferred a click in type of connection. That being said it does what it needs to do and I’d say it’s a pretty good value.

We used this at a 5-year-old’s birthday party as part of a backyard summer sports setup, and it was a total hit! I chose the larger 28"x30" size with the free-standing base (not the staked-in-ground version), and it was super easy to assemble — took less than 15 minutes start to finish. The backdrop is a thick, durable tarp-like material that Velcros easily onto the frame. It doesn’t come with printed targets, but that worked in our favor because I spray-painted it pink to match our theme — the paint stuck great and made it extra fun for a girls' softball-style party game. It’s very sturdy once set up and held up well with repeated use. I also love that it comes with a convenient storage/carrying case, making it easy to bring to events or pack away. Definitely recommend it if you're creating a fun and active backyard vibe for kids!

Some products, you can just tell they're going to be good as soon as you open the box. This is one of them. This strike zone target comes smartly packed with matching parts wrapped together ensuring they don't move and rub up against other parts in transit. The various components are neatly welded and coated evenly with a very nice finish. Not a single scuff or visible raw metal. The hardware is really nice quality.... no flimsy nuts or bolts. Each bolt has a male and female end which screw nicely into each other using the two included allen wrenches. There was not a single stripped thread, really nice. The strike zone material is thick and durable and looks like it will last. The velcro on it is incredibly strong... so much so that I fear the threads that hold the strips on may give out long before the velcro does. I recommend getting a firm grip on both ends when dethatching it.The instructions are easy to follow and assembly is really simple, however there's one important thing to note. You need to assemble it on a flat surface to ensure all the pieces align properly. It's not enough to tighten the bolts in the holes because there's a lot of play and potential for misalignment. The first time I put it together, one corner was almost two inches off the table while the opposite corner lay flat. Align first, then tighten screws. I ended up using a level to make sure everything was square. When this is fully assembled it's fantastic. It's solid, and level, and ready for some action. I'm 6' 1" and the strike zone is pretty dead on. The 13 yr. old that I'm teaching how to play baseball is about 5 inches shorter than I am, but I'm certain this will help him understand balls and strikes better. I'm taking it to the park for some batting practice next week, and I'm sure the kid is gonna love it!So what's wrong with it? It's the fact that it takes time and care to assemble this correctly. You can't really do it on the fly like when you get to the field because screwing and unscrewing with double allen wrenches is kind of a pain. It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't so much play in the parts before they're secured with the screws. So without an even surface or a level, you're very likely to end up with a crooked strike zone. That really puts a damper on portability and using the carry bag to save space in the car, because you're not going to want to break it down once it's together.
