Ball has long hex Shaft so tool can be assisted with wrench for added torque. Ball and hex Shaft has a black oxide finish and is made of high quality tool steel.

Bought it specifically for the forks on a 2009 street Glide. It works. I recommend using a little finess and making sure you have it seated nice and straight so you don't round out the head of it. It's not a quality Allen wrench but I got it for 1 specific task and I was able to complete it.

This is a strong well made product. I’ve used these in impact tools as well as a ratchet. Really good to be able to buy just the size you need as opposed to an entire set just for 1 size. Will absolutely buy more

Traction and handling is decent, durability is a major improvement if you are upgrading from harbor freight.But you if you want the best experience. Bondhus is the best, period, my bondhus still have more grip then the brand new gear wrench after using it for a year. If price is a thing then gear wrench is good enough. If you want the absolutly most heavy duty, go for Bondhus, and it's made here in the state

I did not like the ball end as it strips the bolt head socket quite often. I cut the ball end off to grip better in the bolt head. Now it works great.
