I really love this machine. I have the regular size Gemini machine, so I bought the extender top plate, and so far it works beautifully. I have to play around with it more to get best results but still were great at first try. A little wait to get (I received all side purchases 1st) but worth wait. Love my new addition. My cards are looking fantastic. Only flaw is wish it were wider for larger cards

I use the foil press to add a little bit of class to my cards. It’s very easy to use and you can even die cut something and then foil the regular die cut. So any of your regular die cuts can be foiled using the foil press such as the Christmas tree from the picture I posted. Being able to do this has opened up a whole new aspect of card making.

For the serious crafter who needs a heat pressing machine; it looks like its easy to use since I see my wife using it constantly on some of her crafting projects. This set came with an instruction manual, foil press base, foiling plate, plate cover, metal shim, silicone cooling mat, silicone finger grips, magnetic tweezers, one paper craft foil roll, two foil stamp n cut dies, three foil stamp dies, and power cord.

Really excellent product. Go to you tube the manufacturers videos (Sara Davies) for most accurate description. Any brand foiling dies work. But watch the foil. Best with same brand or spell binders foil. Does NOT work with foil made for thermal laminator type machines (that is foil like Minc, Deco Foil, or Gina K. Absolutely doesn’t work, believe me I spent hours experimenting). Best foil that works is crafters companion (have to look for deals, not always inexpensive with Amazon or the mfr site. Best deal is when HSN runs deals). So spend $ on good quality foil. Remember to save the foil pieces BC you can use the same image on negative foil also for great impact. And save used pieces to use too (again, see Sara’s videos and master class on you tube). The super cheap foil dies on Amazon turn out amazing results (look like knock offs) you can use this machine on paper, ribbon, leather, fabric, etc. again, see Sara’s instructions. I did custom ribbon foiled monograms and blew folks minds (they think I’m a crafting genius). Little effort with big results , that’s what I like. I have the spellbinders glimmer foil machine and like this one better bc it has timers and foil temps you can adjust and an idiot beeper and lights to remind me when it’s hot and ready. I also have 2 Minc foil laminators and they are ok, but only on paper and limited to toner based images. So, yeah, I like foil effects. Again, this machine is best value

This heat press is super fun and easy to use compared to regular foiling techniques. I'll still do the other as I now have a limited number of stamp plates for this machine. Only down side is that I needed to ALSO purchase a Gemini Junior as I didn't know that it didn't work with the Sizzix Big Shot that I already have. Still, having the Gemini Junior and heat press on my desk is causing me to foil more. I can't wait to make a BUNCH of cards with this!!!

I watch several video's before buying, and am so pleased with the results! It is easy to used, if you follow the instructions. I have played around with my regular dies and the results are beautiful. I have the large Gemini cutter and the extension plate took a little fooling around, but I now have a system that works for me and it doesn't allow any of the project parts to move...mostly. The foil does take some testing, right heat, pressure, etc., which is so easy to do. I started a notebook to show my tests, what stamps or dies, what shim, card stock, the results and what I need to change.Bottom line- this is the BEST cardmaking/scrapbooking tool I have ever purchased, hands down, without a doubt!

I’m excited to use this. Please know that my box contained only the instruction book. machine and plates. None of the accessories were included. It did not come with foil, stamps, or dies.This machine works with the spellbinders heat foil and dies.

I have had this machine since July of 2019 and have only used it 3 or 4 times. Each time I only made a card or two but have been collecting a bunch of Christmas items to begin making my 2019 holiday cards. Went to start today and it will not work. Turns on but will not heat. Have tried multiple plug-ins to see if that is an issue but it simply lights the start up light and never heats up. Won't let me set a temperature. The unfortunate thing is that I have such an investment in foils and dies to use with this machine that I will have to purchase another one and I really don't want to. Trying to call and get help is useless and they are currently overwhelmed with calls and emails.
