Being a dog trainer for 30 years I am very picky about my leashes. The thickness of the leash is the same from snap to handle. Sturdy, well made including the snap. The round ring the snap is attached to makes it hard for the snap to get hung up on. Plus, the weight of the snap and ring is perfect for teaching a dog to learn to walk with the loose leash. The dog learns to walk with the snap hang down, perpendicular to the ground. Will buy again and again. 5 stars!

I've used this leash travelling for the past 5 days now with my Australian Shepherd boy. My Dog pulls and this leash has stood up to it. It feels soft and comfortable in your hand unlike other leashes and now its my favorite one out of the 4 leashes I have for him. The quality seems great, let see how long it will last.

This leash is a really good value. It's very well made and the edges are finished, so it's very comfortable on hsnd & fifingers, while training & walking. It is the "Brown" leather leash. The Black leather leash isn't finished & rubs against fingers & hand. Leather & construction of the Black leash is low quality.

Excellent material, unfortunately my kido forgot it out with my labrador (8months old), he ate it like meat except for the brass buckle :( Not your fault. I want to order another but shows out of stock with u. Please let me know when this will be available again?

I love this leash! It is a soft, supple good quality leather having a soft, comfortable feel in your hands, not cutting into them. There is a gentle give to the leather while walking. I have not had problems with the clasp as some other reviewers have had. It arrived coiled up in a small box (just as shown in the picture). I would definitely order another.5/4/17 I am re-rating this leash from 5 to 4 star. the leather remains in great condition and I absolutely still love it. However, with continued use I have found the clasp to have similar problems as other reviewers. I use an Easy-Walk harness for my 60 lb goldendoodle and the clasp slips with every walk. It does not slip off, but slips and tangles over the harness strap several times. YOGADOG please consider reevaluating your clasp. The leather is superb, but a clasp that does not slip is definitely needed.
