This product takes a few minutes to become natural to use, but in a little while, it is a very handy and quick sharpening method. I have become an "old hand" at chain sharpening, and own about 6 different systems.This one is small handy and requires no electricity or additives. One of the best!

A bit of a learning curve the first time. Instructions aren’t the greatest. Find a video online. The second time you’ll have your whole 20” bar’s chain sharp in 10-15 minutes.

Find a YouTube video to show you how to use the equipment; the instructions are pretty worthless in describing how you use the template and files. But, once you figure it out, it's super easy to sharpen your chain saw blade to almost-new status. A lot cheaper than buying new chains.

As a beginner, this is an excellent set to learn how to properly sharpen a chain. Really simple to use and the best thing, using the guide, you can't mess up.

I was disappointed that this Husqvarna product was of such poor quality. After just a couple of filings, the files wouldn't cut hot butter. I since have ordered some diamond files in hopes that they will be better at filing my chains. The guide is adequate but I was not satisfied with how it works for the depth guide. I would recommend that you spend the money and purchase quality files and guides.
