This works perfectly to lock the under-sink cabinets, which in my house store knives, medicines, and cleaning chemicals. The shaft is the right length to lock both cabinet handles together, and have multiple shaft notches to accommodate different lengths. The combination tumblers are easy to roll, and secure the doors well.

I'm sure they're nice and everything but for cabinet locks they have to rotate to be put on the cabinet knobs... And because the bottom of this lock doesn't come off you can't get them on.Again they seem really well made, but this should be much clearer in the description

I had a cheap plastic lock that worked similar but wore out in a few months. We use this to lock a cabinet with items that the kids shouldn’t be getting into. Nice quality and should last. I had to cut a little off the end of the metal shank so that I could slide it all the way off and on. Just the end segment with a cutoff wheel. A hacksaw would work fine as well. I use it over the standard cabinet door knobs. Happy with my purchase.

Easy to put your new code on. Just unscrew the tiny screw and remove that piece, pick your code and screw it back on. These are good cabinet locks

Quality of these are heavy and solid, but didn't expand wide enough to go around cabinet handles so had to return them.
