Flat face top and bottom is double cut. One side is single cut, and the other side is safe. File measurement is from the point to where the teeth end. Cut 1; medium/coarse. Length; Width x Thickness: 18.5 mm x 4 mm.

The Riddle Of Steel. I worked in a machine shop for 10 years making parts one at a time back in the late 70s early 80s. This is a file that is comparable to what Nicholson used to make.
