This is impressively made. The fit and finish are amazing, but I couldn't get a good seal on my valve stem and air poured out of every opening. This might be because there is only about 1/2" of valve stem.

I was excited to get this to put on my Milwaukee inflator. The adapter fitting is garbage, threads are so rough it won’t thread onto my tool. Don’t buy this product. It’s actually a dull blackish and scratched and dented up.

I have been using a Portable Air Compressor Pump to inflate my car tires for quite a few years. That pump has a threaded connector which caused uneven air pressure in my tires as I cannot control the speed of turning the connector off. I was unaware of this until I switched to a new car with air pressure monitor onboard. I added a quick release air chuck to the pump and this fixed my issue.I recently purchased another identical pump for my son and I added a quick release air chuck. I came across this GODESON Locking Air Chuck and it got my interest. This one costs a lot more than the air chucks that I have been using. So, I ordered it and give it a try. This Air Chuck is not big but compared to my other ones, this is huge and heavy. It has a Dark Chrome finish unlike the pictures on Amazon which shown it as Black. It comes with 2 different adaptors that required a 15mm wrench to tighten. The additional adaptors enable this Air Chuck to be connected in 3 ways. There is nothing cheap about this Air Chuck as it should be. This Locking Air Chuck costs 45% of my newly purchased Air Pump.I finally have a chance to try this air chuck. While this works there is something different using it. First the I have to pull off the air chuck as fast as I can right after I pressed the release lever. The amount of air that would escape depends on the speed I pull off the air chuck. Second, after I pull off the air chuck, the air chuck would seal off the pump hose. I could see there is still positive pressure indicated on the inline digital pressure gauge. I am not sure if I should leave the hose of my portable air pump under pressure all the time. I need to loosen the air chuck to release the remaining air.In retrospect, this GODESON Locking Air Chuck is an overkill for my use. My cheap air chucks with simple flip levers are more suited for my 12V DC Portable Air Compressor Pump. This is not saying that this Locking Air Chuck is not good. With more use, I probably could learn to control the release of the air chuck and minimized the escaping air. This Air Chuck is built to last and probably more suited to professional use.

I seem to have bad luck testing these. Picked this one up after another one gloriously failed thinking that this one is much better quality. It is; it is solid and everything was good mechanically except for one thing. The main point of failure is that the "throat" on this is too deep to get a good seal on a car tire valve stem and it then leaks out more air than it is putting in. I'd imagine it would do fine if you are looking to solely use this on bicycle schrader valves that have much longer threads.

This tire air chuck is solid! It feels like it is well built. Nothing feels loose or janky. Just simply pick your hose fitting and you’re ready. I initially wanted to use this with my Milwaukee M18 tire inflator but unfortunately, the other included attachment doesn’t work well with my M18 Milwaukee inflator. I’ll need to figure another way to make that connection happen. But in the mean time, I’m able to use it with my regular air compressor and it does great. Just squeeze on the locking lever, push onto tire valve stem and release. If it’s on properly, You won’t hear any air leaks. The first time I used this air chuck, I didn’t have it on the tire valve stem properly and I could hear air hissing. I repositioned the air chuck pushing it more firmly onto the valve stem and it worked great! No need to sit or stand in an awkward position trying to air up a tire that might take a minute! It’s as simple as it gets. The two included attachments both have an o-ring to help seal it to the chuck. I still opted to use thread tape but I doubt that is necessary. If you’re looking for an air chuck to make tire inflations much easier, I recommend giving this air chuck a try! The clamping feature makes this a yes for me!! Unlike my Milwaukee that threads onto the valve stem so every time you go to remove the air line, you lose a few psi and that drives me crazy!! I really hope to make this work with my M18 Tire Inflator!
