I needed a additional amber colored light for my front grill and this was perfect. Easy to install with a great wiring harness. You just have to modify the ground wire.

If you want a brake bar, this is not the right setup. These come on with your running lights on the trailer harness to add extra visibility for your trailer. I replaced my marking lights under my boat between my taillights. I wanted LED's that were sealed and wouldn't leak and short out my wiring down the road. These not only replaced them perfectly, but they are completely sealed and a great price. I recommend coating your trailer metal after washing to prevent rust when you're working in salt or a salt mix environment. Even if this was stainless steel, when you mount onto a different metal you create a nobility mismatch, and it can act as an anode. Keep this bar clean and protected and it should last a long time!

These lights are just running lights. The will not brighten when the brakes are applied. These are for trailers over 80” from side to side. The price is not bad for what you get. I wanted a light that did not have a piece sticking out the back requiring a larger hole than necessary. They do this by having a U-shaped bracket that has its own channel. Where you screw in the light it is recessed to fit flush. You only have one wire connecting to the lights. The ground is when you screw this to the trailer. I just scratched the touching parts or the light and trailer to make sure of a good ground. It does not need to be much but that makes sure the contact is good. The lights are bright enough for running lights and for a good price.

I bought this for my pontoon boat trailer and was going to put it on the back side of the trailer but decided I was going to use it as a forward running light on the side in front of the axle. So I have to get a second one for the opposite side. So far they are running great and I have not had any issue with water leaking into them. It's nice that it comes on a easy mount bracket. They are bright enough and suit my needs perfectly. I like it enough to buy another one. I'm not too picky on trailer lights. These do feel a little bit cheaper than the $16 per unit lights I bought separately for over the fenders but they do the trick. And if they break their cheap enough to replace. I'm happy with these so that's why I'm giving them five stars

This product is not as good as I thought, I bought two of them, one start getting dim the other one light stop working, both was described as stainless still but are not, it’s jus regular metal paint, two times my trailer in the water and I’m about to replace them
