This weather vane is well made and beautiful. It moves easily with the wind. It was straightforward to install. As easy as installing anything from a bucket truck on the top of an 11 ft cupola atop a 30 foot metal roof! Looks perfect on our New Hampshire barn. Big enough to be seen up there.

Ordered the moose weathervane July 2021, by December it was black! Not worth the price at all. Waited til it was warm out, to see if temperature made a difference, nope. Contacted customer support, they didn’t care that it had blackened… said sometimes that happens while aging. I could have ordered a satin black one for a 1/4 of the price! If I could give zero stars I would have. Don’t buy if you want a nice copper weathervane, as it won’t stay that way very long. Really disappointed in quality and customer service.**Edited. Customer service has now came thru. Said they couldn’t refund any money, however did offer us a different product from their site free of charge. Doesn’t make the moose any better, but at least they offered some sort of compensation. And to clarify, moose still looks good, we just felt it’s not worth the price we paid, just to turn fully black.

It’s nice that in a sea of cheap crap, there is actually an oasis of craftsmanship with this product. Very well made and beautiful. Looks great on the plant hanger. My wife loves it!!!

I love my Good Directions weathervane. It is large and detailed and easy to see from the top of the house. It is beautiful and spins freely in the wind. The first one I ordered had a misplaced weld spot that left an antler unsecured. Good Directions replaced it promptly and professionally. I admit I have only had it a week, but I expect to get many years of enjoyment from it.

Beautiful BIG product! Definitely think of how and where it will be mounted because you will probably need to purchase a bracket/stand and possibly an extension rod for it.

The product itself is beautiful and has nice detail. However, the seam on the one I ordered does not match up, there are several marks of where the pieces were placed together that aren't copper colored and just looks like sloppy Craftsmenship. This a gift and I don't currently believe I have to return and this was the only large moose weathervane I could find. All though the one side looks nice I am very disappointed and don't plan on doing further business with the Good Directions company. For the price I paid and knowing it was a family company I expected it to be well put together and to look of the good quality they claim to have that in paid for.
