got this to help with a fork change that has proved to be challenging in that everything fits but there are no surfaces on the fork bottom to butt up the bearing to. This set has two of them, similar to the type one would see on a head set with open bearings. This is perfect for establishing a bearing seat for the bottom bearing and thus this set worked where others would not. The bearings are sealed and spin smooth and the hardware has extra long surfaces to insure the cups go in straight, and true and stay there.
