The aluminum cans are stronger than the crusher, the crushing platform bent after a few soda cans.

This can crusher was very easy to install, lightweight great quality and very sturdy. Price is right! My father is in his 70's and says it easy flr him with is a plus.

Crushes cans okay, bottles well (except for the first try). (Leave the cap unscrewed.)The finish is meh. Even worse now that it's been used. I'd suggest finding a nicer one with a better design if you care how it looks.Hardware included, including drywall anchors despite the box saying to install in a stud. I used two of the four screws into a stud.I did not have any 16oz cans to try.
