I use everyday on my dogs chicken for dinner. A little hard to clean.

These claws definitely do the work they were meant to do. I always have ran into them at the stores, but it never occurred to me that it was something we needed, as we have always just used forks to shred our cooked meat. These claws definitely make a difference, I feel like I can shred some chicken in about half the time I normally would take. It also shreds them in a lot thinner pieces than a fork does. We will really be looking forward to what we can do more with these when we are ready to start grilling outside this summer.

The handle opening is 3 5/8” so it fits comfortably in my medium sized hand. The metal claws did a great job shredding pulled pork and the ends are blunted so don’t come to a sharp point. But the inside handle portion of the metal is squared off and sharp so if my hands slip while applying pressure, I’ll probably end up getting cut. The black handle is plastic, and one is loose, so it squeaks when I use it. But since the plastic pieces are riveted together, I can’t tighten it.I like that these claws are metal so work through meat easily, but it would be nice if the inner handle portion of the metal was rounded to avoid potential cuts. They cleaned up quickly in hot soapy water, and hopefully the loose handle stays put.

I didn't buy this item for what it was made for. To me they are for self-defense, so I cannot say how it shreds me as of yet. They are Sharp, but blunted at the tips and thick gauge.
