Amazing!!! I bought a used 2021 CanAm Spyder RT Sea to Sky with 2,900 miles on it. The first oil change is at 3,000 miles. I knew from my research of the CanAm Spyder that it is best to change the oil plug with bolt style oil drain plugs because there is a risk of stripping out the Torx 40 drain plug on the right side since there is a brake linkage in the way and it is hard to get the Torx wrench perfectly seated in there. Lots of people have stripped out this oil drain plug. CanAm is aware of this issue and recommends taking it to the dealer to have it drilled out, removed, and flushed. Well, I decided I wasn't going to risk it, so I bought the bolt style replacement oil drain plugs for my first oil change. And wouldn't you know Murphy's Law hit me. Yeap, on the first oil change I stripped out the T40 Torx oil drain plug. My wrench would just spin inside that bolt. I provided a photo of what that stripped out bolt looks like (which should have a star pattern). Now, it was more like a circle.I started doing research on alternative methods of removing a stripped Torx bolt. I came across a video on the GripEdge Tools Torx Set which was selling on Amazon for $169. Basically, it is the same as the Mac Tools B.R.P.T. but rebranded as GripEdge and sold much cheaper. They claim 400% more torque on stripped Torx bolts. Well, considering the cost of labor to have a dealer drill out the drain plug, flush the engine, and then the worry that the engine flush wasn't good enough, I started looking for other methods and found GripEdge Tools.I ordered this set from Amazon. For $169, it wasn't cheap, but it was far less expensive than taking it to the dealer and then the worry that there were metal particles in the engine. I gave it a try.Holy Smokes! It worked, and it worked great! I put the GripEdge Torx 40 in the stripped bolt, tapped it with the socket wrench a few times to make certain it was seated, and it literally bit in and easily removed the oil drain plug. Prior to that, with my other T40 Torx, it just spinned inside because it was totally stripped out. So, it worked, and it worked very well.Since the CanAm Spyder primarily uses Torx bolts of various sizes, I purchased the whole set versus just buying the T40 bit by itself. Now, I have the confidence that using the GripEdge Torx Bits, I won't strip out a Torx bolt to begin with, so I won't have to worry about dealing with a stripped out Torx bolt.

These work fantastic and have gotten me out of some tricky spots. They grip good and can be used on torx bolts even if they are not rounded or damaged.
