Grover Sta-Tite™ tuners are a modern version of a vintage design. For 3-left/3-right solid pegheads.
Each tuner features 18:1 gear ratio for fine tuning, a cast baseplate, vintage style scalloped knobs, and nylon worm bearings and tension screw for smooth operation.
Sets of 6 (3-left/3-right). Each set includes mounting screws and knurled press-fit peghead bushings. 11/32" (8.73mm) diameter pegholes required.
Installation Tips
Bushings: Get the right fit! Use a slow-speed 0.340"-diameter reamer to cut a clean, accurate counterbore for a professional job.
Mounting screws: Pilot holes required. Installing delicate screws into hard wood requires great care and accuracy. We highly recommend a No. 50 bit for the pilot hole before installing these screws. Lubricate the screw threads with cutting lubricant (also wax or a bar of soap) to reduce friction and help them thread properly.

From examining, the package and contents of the grover stay-tight tuners, they appear to be of high quality and what I want as an upgrade for my acoustic guitar tuners. I won't know how they function until they're installed on my guitar.

These replaced Martin branded tuners on my OM 42 ( why doesn't Martin put high quality tuners on a high ticket guitar?). These Grovers are a lot smoother (18:1) and make tuning a lot more problem free. All it took was reaming out the peg holes a bit and they dropped right in.

After over decade, I swapped out the tuners on my HCT Hofner bass with these Grovers and I was met with a huge improvement in tuning stability and precision.One thing to note is that I had to wrap the bushings with 1 layer of painters tape to get them to fit snugly in the existing holes, otherwise they would fall out.

I put them on my 2019 martin HD-28 and man! It brought the best looks out of my guitar! They are very smooth and hold a very long tune! I only have yo tune my guitar about once every 4 days amd it's not even really tuning it, it's more if jyst tweaking it a bit. Highly recommend these tuners. Only downfall is if you use a string winder and don't cover the buttons with a cloth it will scratch them.

These tuners are great! Replaced the nice looking, but cheap gold open-gear tuners on my Gretsch that just wouldn’t stay in tune. Now I take the guitar out of the case and it’s still in perfect tune from the day before. Sta-Tite is right!

Waste no money on imitations. Grover hold the strings and most importantly, they STAY tuned longer.Replaced a cheaper Grover imitation version on a Wechter custom guitar and I’m very pleased. 4 stars only because they are quite expensive, however zero regrets. If you love your guitar, treat it with these high quality vintage Grovers.
