I bought this to adapt the back of my guitars battery box to making it cable active. It allowed me to do the job perfectly. I was able to reroute the need to have always a 9-volt battery that I have to keep replacing on my tiger guitar so I put in a 9-volt DC jack and bought a cable and ran it to my pedal effects hub and now I have constant 9 volt power supply to the array of 9 volt pedals. All the parts to do this were found here at this website I'm very pleased that I was able to do this myself
