Poor Quality.Hygrometer doesn't work properly. And weak wood.Bought one, Hygrometer didn't move from 60% regardless the environment. We kept looking for 5 days, no changes, so we returned.Got a new one, Hygrometer moved a bit, no accurate at all, but it came with a crack on the wood part, returned again. Not worth it, will look for something else.

One of the biggest hazards of guitar display is low moisture drying out the wood. Heat or air conditioning dries out the air and drops the room humidity below a target minimum of 40%. (You can research more on humidity requirements and related damage). This wooden Wall hanger is finished nicely and includes the Hygrometer so you can get an accurate reading of the humidity right there at the guitar. The downside is the meter is located behind the headstock of the displayed instrument, so you have to move the guitar to view the meter. Otherwise its great to have it all in one unit. (All mounting pieces included)

While I don't worry too much about my electric bass, I really baby my antique mandolins; living in a dry climate, I'm extremely conscientious of the humidity in the room where my instruments live. Too concerned? Okay, maybe, but I'm not hurting anyone by being neurotic about it. Anyway, I probably won't use this hook for days+ of storage for my more delicate instruments, I'm excited to have a hanger to keep them convenient when I have a weekend of music ahead of me. Plus, I won't be shy to hang my less-aged-but-still-quite-adored instruments for longer stints. The padding on the arms of the hanger are a bit stiff -just not as spongey as I expected- although I suspect this will last longer. As long as you aren't slamming your axe down, it will be a-okay. This set comes with screws and drywall anchors, so you're all set to install it in your wall. The hygrometer on mine is slightly askew, but that's a pretty easy sacrifice at this price point. The wood looks nice and this won't be an eyesore on your wall, or as an accessory to your classy instruments!I just moved, but I'll update if I find any issues as I try my various instruments in it.

I always get nervous during the winter when the house heat is on and the humidity is very low and dry. My electric guitars aren't affected as much however I have a few acoustic guitars including a 12 string that HATE the dry air. They tend to shrink noticeably and you can see the warping on the front face of the guitar and the soundhole becomes sunken-in.That is when I started caring about keeping my guitars in a humidity controlled room.I have a humidifier in the room and a digital hygrometer. This guitar wall hanger is the first I've seen with a built-in hygrometer and its both stylish as well as accurate. For the cost of a standard single guitar hanger, it makes total sense to have one of these. They seem well-made, no worse or better than the leading brand's same style of hanger. It's a nice feature to have a simple reliable analog hygrometer dial when I decide to hang my 12 string while it's not in its case.Good product, good value, no reason not to give it all 5 stars. Also note that it has a slot on the top to hold a pick. That's a feature I am not used to and I welcome it!Thanks QUMOX

Works great to hold my fender on the wall. Well protected studs won't harm the guitar, and nice wide stays that it should not be possible to turn sideways and slip. Easy to mount, comes with hardware.I mount my guitar up high, so I can't easily see the hygrometer, but I could check it if I needed to.
