I fell while chukar hunting a few weeks ago, down a steep rocky slope when my dog went on point. The trekking pole I had was flimsy. This one is much better, more stout, gets really long, and has the good carrying strap. I’m 6’3” so size matters. This will be a good monopod for photography, gun rest for rifle hunting, and walking stick on steep slopes. It doesn’t fold up as small as the flimsy one, but I can deal with that. The adjustability is good and the twist-lock system is so far good.Glad I found it. I will use it this week.

The adjustment closest to the bottom stopped working and now I can’t adjust the shooting stick for use while seated on the ground. I wanted to like it, works good as a trekking pole, might be better off going for a name brand unit..Update 11/8 seller made it right and offered a refund.
