- On the back, there is a special tape for automobiles (3M tape), which is commonly used in automobile parts.

- Short description of the installation: wipe clean your CX5 door sill location, then use a heat gun to heat up the tape a little bit, tear off and install it

- We have attached 2 pieces of 3M adhesive tape on the back of each of the four door sill plates, which are the same length as the door sill strips, and the 3M adhesive tape is included in the product.

Not formed to the car (they are flat) and together with poor ”glue” they easily fall off. (Cleaned the area carefully before attaching them)

I love the look of it, value for the money and the ease of installation, however it did not stick too well had to go to the auto store to get adhesive so it will stick better.

Won't stick to metal. Adhesive just not strong. Will buy some auto glue. Nice looking.

They are glorious polished and stamped chrome with raised edge protective strip and some adhesion promoter.The problem is that the adhesive strips already applied to the product weren’t as thick as the edge strip, so I couldn’t get any of them to properly adhere to my vehicle. They kept coming loose and no effort of mine could get them to adhere properly.I ended up having to remove the strips, clean the plates up really good, use my own VHB (Very High Bond) double-sided tape, and reapply.Now they are *firmly* in place and look fantastic.Love this product, except for the adhesive strips that were on them.

Good fit, very pretty, look like factory installed. Husband (who is from Detroit) thought they were wonderful! And he is hard to please! Not sure about adhesive. That may need to be reglued.
