I have purchased other Haisstronica products in the past and they were excellent quality so I figured this heat gun would be also. I was right, this is an excellent product. The heat gun comes housed in a plastic case and includes attachments and a scraper. The gun has a two speed switch on the back of the grip handle, a rotating switch on the side and a digital readout for temperature adjustment. The gun puts out scorching heat. It is designed to be able to set it on it's back facing up for hands free work as well. The attachments work well and the gun housing stays cool to the touch. This heat gun kit is very nice, works great and is worthy of 5 stars for quality and value.

This is a great heat gun! It heats up quickly, isn't very noisy and has decent adjustability for different temperature levels.It has decent enough weight and is easy to hold in hand.I mostly use it to heat shrink wrap or to remove labels etc or to heat adhesive surfaces for greater adhesion and it always does the job quickly.This thing is capable of tons more uses and I would highly recommend it for anything you require a heat gun for.

Over the years I have had several heat guns. All of them worked, but were all problematic in regard to temp control and the ability to control the direction and concentration of the heat blast. This one is very different. It comes with a variety of tips that are very specific in their intended usage. For instance there is a wonderful tip that is specifically designed to use for shrink tubing, even the tiny shrink tube section on electrical connectors, something I use a lot and have always found to be difficult and in some cases dangerous with my previous heat guns. There are a variety of other tips for every normal heat gun application , and so far, the ones I have used are very good and in all cases has speeded up and simplified the jobs. It is also very light and well balanced making it a pleasure to use. I have always found heat guns useful, but mostly very clumsy and difficult to be accurate with. That is not the case with this one, As a result I use much more often than previously, with much better success.

I've never owned a heat gun with this many options to it! Off/Low/High is all I've ever been able to choose from.Now this heat gun, enclosed within its own case, comes along, and my entire worldview has experienced a serious tumble - right onto the lap of luxury! OK, a bit over done on that, but it does have some nice features about it.The O/L/H switch is there on the back of the handle - typical stuff. Then on the side is a digital readout. Below this readout is a thumb-wheel, which controls the temperature of air blowing out the nozzle. The readout displays the temperature (in F I'm guessing), and the thumb-wheel changes this higher or lower.The lowest temp it offers, is 140 in both low and high speeds. The max temp in low is 482, while in high it's 1202 - all according to the readout. I can't verify the accuracy of what's displayed to what's blowing out, but it does get hotter the higher the readout is increased.All this flexibility is great for dialing in how much heat is needed for what's being worked on, but wait, there's more! Switching the gun to off, and the display counts down for 10 seconds of blower fan only, to help cool the unit down a bit before actually powering off. Maybe that's standard these days, but I've never had that feature before.Of course there's 5 different nozzles to add on, which can be used depending on the particular job needing done. So all in all, a very flexible heat gun with some nice options. Tough to go back to O/L/H-only versions now!Note: it is CE rated, says so right on the side - see photo.
