We buy these and add them to the candy we hand out at the church trunk or treat. The kids love them and always search for more. We have a skeleton display in our trunk and scatter the pirate treasure all around the skeleton and spiders and snakes. The kids really enjoy them. They look authentic and are cheap enough that you can hand out a lot.

There was a type of powdery substance on the coins. My guess is that it's plastic left over from the process of it all, which means that customers need to be careful to wipe these coins down before giving them to children. Microplastics getting into our bodies are no joke, stay safe.
