This teaching clock is a gem. It's something that's obviously useful for learning to tell time, but there is so much more to it than that: adding/subtracting time math problems, extra element for tactile learners, a booklet with ides and instructions for using it. The pop-its make a satisfying snap and stay where they are supposed to, and the whole thing is very good quality. I do wish it had an option to engage and disengage a cog to keep the hands moving together, as working clock hands do, or independently. I would definitely recommend it, especially, at the current list price of $12.99 USD.

I think this toy clock is a great tool for learning to teach time and how to read clocks. It's a good size for kids in my opinion, not too big and not too small. The numbers are all easily readable and really standout against the yellow background. I personally think the linear number bar at the bottom is a good idea for teaching the initial concept. Possibly a bit easier to understand for a small child than the numbers going around a clock face. The bubble popper feature is a nice addition to add a bit of fun to the learning experience.Overall I think this is a nice quality toy that's very helpful for learning how to tell time. I consider it to be a good value and I recommend it. I think it would make a good gift educational gift for a young child.

My son is in second grade and just starting to learn to read time. So far at school, he’s been taught how to tell time in half-hour increments. I introduced this to him and he had an immediate interest. He liked popping the corresponding number bubble on the timeline and on the clock. We used the current time as the example and he was able to understand my explanation of how to tell what hour it was, as well as the minutes. He will definitely need more work, especially in how to discern the minutes between the 5-minute increments. I do wish the timeline had all 60 minutes, but understandably, that would make this toy much larger. As far as the appearance and function of the item, it feels good in the hand and was easy to “pop”. The yellow is a bit of an oddColor as I would think white or black would be better, but perhaps they are going for high visibility. The numbers are printed fine and should last. It is lightweight and easy to carry.

We absolutely love this bubble popper toy that helps our little guy better understand time visually. This bubble popper in the form of a clock with it's bright yellow, blue and red colors was designed and executed so well. The bubbles have a very nice tactile feel and requires a little bit of a push to pop them which is nice as it doesn't collapse easily when you barely touch them. In terms of size it is just right as it's not too big or small. Overall, this is a great interaction tool for teaching kids how to tell time especially those with special needs as they tend to learn best when being presented with a visual cue.

I wasn’t sure if my 2 1/2-year-old grandson was ready to learn how to tell time, but I knew he had a good understanding of the concept. He recognizes when we say he has five more minutes and watches the digital display on the microwave count down. When I saw this toy, I thought it would be a fun and interactive way to introduce him to telling time while engaging with him through play. This toy has many great features. It encourages fine motor skills with button manipulation, provides tactile and sensory learning, and, of course, helps with understanding time. He already enjoys numbers and counting, and he loves pressing the buttons as they pop up, out, and back in.I’ve been spending short sessions with him, showing him the difference between the big hand and the little hand. Everything needed to learn how to read a clock or wristwatch is included in this toy. What’s great is that he’s learning at his own pace while naturally getting familiar with how clocks work. This toy is an excellent choice for children from 2 1/2 to 6 years old, depending on their developmental stage. Highly recommended!

My kindergartner used this for under a week and he was already able to tell time from his analog watch. It works and it is a fun way for kids to learn how to tell time. He especially loved that he is able to pop the buttons. We've popped it on and off multiple times and we did not notice any wear or tear before storing. I am a bit sad we only used it for a week but it is effective and fast way to teach your kids.

As a homeschool mom of four, I’m always on the lookout for affordable, hands-on tools that actually work—and this has been such a great addition to our time-telling lessons! We already use other clock manipulatives from this brand, and this one fits right in perfectly. The bubble popper design adds a fun sensory element that my kids really enjoy. They love popping the bubbles to show the hour and minutes, and it helps reinforce the concepts in a playful, memorable way. It’s been especially helpful for my younger learners who do best with hands-on activities. It’s sturdy, durable, and hasn’t shown any signs of wear, even with regular use. Whether you're teaching multiple ages like I am or just looking for a single resource to make telling time more engaging, this is a budget-friendly tool that brings real value to your homeschool day.Highly recommend for any homeschooling family looking to make learning time more interactive—without breaking the bank!
