This is a perfect to teach phonics and usage of works to your kids or to a class. It is big bag of all the things and tiles you will need. Makes for an interesting fun time for kids to learn as well since they get curious.

This pocket chart is a great tool in my homeschool and I'm sure it would be a wonderful addition to a traditional classroom as well. The chart is large but I like that it can either hang on the wall or stand up on the tabletop. There's a lot of well-designed cards included and they're made of sturdy cardstock for durability. I'm not super crazy about the bright yellow color but I suppose that's just me being picky. This set makes a great way of reviewing our phonics lessons and my kid really enjoys using it so I'm happy with it.

This chart can even hang on a wall or can fold up into a large standee as shown. It comes with lots of cards and has pockets to put them on the chart as shown. There's also some pockets on the inside for storage, but that pocket needs to be deeper to be effective for the larger cards.I got this with the intention of using it in my Teacher Cadet class to allow the students to use it to teach one another how to read (practice, of course) but we ran out of time in the school year this year. I'm hoping to use it next year. It comes with some directions, but I'm not an elementary teacher, so teaching these basic concepts will definitely require me needing some tutoring! But I could see how the manipulatives would make this an engaging activity.

This sturdy tabletop pocket chart is a nice set for little ones learning their letters. I used it during small-group instruction, and it worked very well. It's an excellent set that can be used at home or in the classroom.

This phonics chart from Hand2Mind is nice and large, bigger than I anticipated! It can be used hanging flat, or like an easel on the table top. The included cards are glossy and will wipe clean if written on with dry erase marker, but they are thin. This is definitely for the teacher to handle as a kid will rip right through these! I will say though, I was able to flip through them quickly, I say that because the all paper ones we use in the classroom are hard to separate and I spend so much time fussing with trying to separate them. Like you want to lick your finger so you can flip them, but in an elementary school setting, I'd sooner lick the bottom of my shoe, than my finger! These Hand2Mind ones are thin, but the coating allows you to grip and flip. I appreciate that the cards are two sided, this way you and your student can see the same thing at the same time when doing flash cards. A big negative for me is the design of the sound cards. They show the sound the letter should make, a picture that begins with that sound and a picture of the correct position of the mouth, which is all great, but they do not always show the letter that makes that sound. For example, on the Q sound card, it only shows /kw/ and a picture of a queen, but nowhere on the card is there an actual letter Q. When teaching grapheme-phoneme correspondence, it is helpful to see both the letters and the sound the letters make, as they are not always the same thing, as with letters like X, Q, W, H, and more. There are blank cards included and the cards are easy enough to edit to suit your student's needs. It's nice that the cards store in the bottom pouch and there are hanging holes to mount this. Overall, the benefits outweigh the negatives and I find this very handy in the classroom.

This was a very engaging way to help my kid learn her phonics. The set comes with many different words and letters than can be set as examples as they practice. The set is very complete and the material of the cards is sturdy and lasts despite many uses.
