I really like this scrub jacket. I'm not a huge fan of the anesthesia/scrub tech jackets that are available in the hospital so I was looking for something a little different. Something that is lightweight but will keep me a little warmer in our freezing hospital. It doesn't hurt that it has a little bit of style to it too.It's a durable-feeling material, not a super-soft feel but not particularly rough either. It is not a stiff-feeling material however. The jacket fits very nicely, I'm about 160 lbs, 5'10", and usually somewhere between a small and a medium, so I wasn't sure what size I would be. I ended up choosing the small and it fits just right. Note the length of the jacket; it is not a waist-length, more typical cut, it goes a bit lower. This gives it a little bit more of a 'medical' look in my opinion. The listing photos do a good job of showing the style but I didn't notice this before choosing it, so be aware.It has a badge holder loop on the left shoulder which is a nice little detail. There is a zippered pocket on the left chest, two zippered pockets at the sides in the usual places, and there are open pockets on the inside of each side also. So nice to have many pockets and especially to have zippers so things don't fall out.

The material on this isn't quite what I was expecting. It feels quite similar to the material in tennis skirts or basketball shorts. It can be a bit on the rougher/rigid side; it isn't uncomfortable, but I do hope it will soften with repeated washings. The material feels quite durable, and won't tear should I catch it on a door handle (as I tend to do with open jackets that have pockets). One major plus is that is doesn't seem to attract lint and is easily brushed off by hand. The sleeves are a bit shorter than I expected in a good way, because usually a plus-size jacket that fits me around is too long in the arms... but this one fits me well, and the tapered wristbands fall right at my wrists. I was happy to know the upper arms were generously sized for layering and fit my larger arms well. The zipper is smooth and the fabric isn't lined, but there are hidden pockets on the inside front of both sides of the zipper. The color is rich and the neckband is ribbed and would absorb any sweat if I find myself running around a bit in this. I was looking for a lightweight but wind-protective jacket for spring and this definitely checks those boxes. I could wear this to work or as a layering piece while out running errands, and if I get too hot, it won't be heavy to carry as I can tie it comfortably around my waist or throw it over my shoulder. I definitely recommend this. It's hard to go wrong with this brand. I was torn between 4 and 5 stars, mostly because I did want a softer feel closer to scrubs... and it definitely feels more on the athletic-wear side.

Hanes is a trusted brand I buy on repeat but this is my first experience with their scrubs and the delivered big time! This lightweight scrub jacket is sturdy and should last for years. Has lots of pockets for all the things and they zip so you don’t have to worry about losing anything.

I just got this three 1/2 weeks after ordering it and it's a light weight item but well made, is stitched well and looks like it will hold up for a while. It's only meant to take the chill off and isn't a very warm item if you're not busy and moving around at work.

I love this jacket. It is light weight and very comfortable. I got the small size and it fit me perfectly (6'0", 140lb) - I love the pockets and it looks good on me as well.

This works well for my rotation at work. The jacket actually looks really nice. It is comfortable and warm especially since I am working in colder setting. It matches my scrubs and is easy to move around in. It is light weight so I can wear it and walk around for long periods without fatigue. It does not irritate my skin when I am wearing it. This is not overly tight and actually fits well with my scrubs on. The material has some water resistance to it. It is easy to wash. I just throw it in the wash but air dry just to be safe. The jacket fits really well on me. The stitching on this is good. I did not see any issues with holes or such. The zipper is very durable as well. There are pockets to hold my pens and such. I can also put my phone in there as needed. The wrist area is secure. Overall this jacket is really nice for me. It fits comfortable and works well with my scrubs. It allows me to stay warm during my rotation and it matches my scrub colors. It is light weight and easy to move around in. It is easy to wash and I can wear it out after my rotation shift and it looks professional. It is well made and I do not see any issues with holes or fraying.
