Gotta be honest here. While there are quite a few good reviews for this item, and so far, I'm not super impressed. I have it hanging on the outside of my closet door, with the intention of storing one specific type of yarn. I want to store all my smaller balls of #3 yarn in one spot and thought this would be a good option. I haven't moved that yarn in there yet, however, because as it's been hanging on my closet door, just with regular opening and closing of the door, the thing just keeps sliding around. Either the fabric loop slides off the wood hanger, or the hook slides off the wood hander. It seems very unstable and I think just the weight of the organizer swinging with opening and closing the door makes it shimmy around. The hooks fit nice and tight on the top of the door and do not interfere at all with how the door closes. But the thing just keeps sliding around. I imagine this would work great hanging stationary in the closet, but I don't want it in my closet. I was hoping to keep it hanging on the door in my craft room for easy access and visibility. Thus, so far I'm not impressed with it's functionality on the door. I'll update if I change my mind.

I used to keep my yarn stash in a plastic tote. The downside was having to dig though it to find what I was looking for or to see what I had. This product is a fabulous solution. It hangs on the door so it doesn't really take up any space. The pockets are clear so you can see everything at a glance. There's a good amount of room and I was able to fit all of my yarn stash with room leftover for future purchases. There's also a nice little pouch on the side where you can store hooks, needles, scissors, etc. The only negative is that it was a little difficult to actually fit the hooks on the top of the door, but with a little maneuvering it attached nicely.

You can never have enough storage for yarn and having these types of storage bags really are helpful for people like me who likes to sort through my yarn stash. Having this type of storage that hangs in the closet and is clear lets me see exactly what I have on hand. I like that this pouch is almost full length in my closet, utilizing all the space. I also appreciate that it can be completely sealed so even if it's overstuffed my yarn will not spill out, lastly the needle pouch is useful. Overall, it's good and comparable to other zippered pouches that I've purchased.

I was so excited to get this since storing yarn is always a mess and takes up a lot of space. Having it all in one place where I can see it through the plastic is great, and hanging it behind a door saves lots of shelf space. The organizer was well packaged. My main issue with it is that it would not lay flat against the door. It’s just a normal bedroom door and the hooks fit over the door, but the organizer top stuck out at an odd angle. After fussing with it for a while, I ended up using a larger pair of over the door hooks that I had on hand and they work much better. I was able to fit all my yarn in, leaving one shelf for my needles and notions. All the shelves are roomy and the large shelf on the bottom is nice for large skeins. You can access each shelf from either side and the zippers work smoothly, opening from both top and bottom. I used the pocket on the side for my crochet hooks. Nice to have all my yarn in one place and easily visible.

I’ve been using all kinds of oversized bags to store my yarn for crocheting—it got out of control, and honestly, I felt like a bag lady! Even though I knew where everything was, it just wasn’t working for me. I’ve been searching forever for a better solution, and I finally found it: a hanging yarn organizer! At first, I was looking for something that sat on the floor, like my bags did, but I never thought about one that hangs on the back of a door—it’s perfect! I absolutely love it. It’s neat, easy to access, securely zipped, and has made organizing my yarn so simple.I still have a bunch of bags I need to figure out what to do with—but thanks to this organizer, I don’t need them anymore. If you need a better way to store your yarn, this is

Do you have a yarn addiction? I swear, I must, based on the number of skeins I have right now. Not to mention how many times I end up buying the same colors not realizing I already have enough of that color. I just used a wall hook, and hung it up on my closet wall, using the coat hanger part of it. However, it does come with hardware, so that it can be hung over a door. It can even be hung in your closet, if you are fortunate to have extra closet space. I really like it on my wall, because now it is right there in front of me. I can see all my yarns through the clear plastic, and there are zippers on both ends, There are double zippers! So they can zip from the bottom or the top. It stored a lot of yarn, and the organization is totally up to you, but I tried to keep my colors together. I even put my yarn holder in there, and it did not collapse on me. Seems to be of good quality, and I am super pleased with it. One of my best purchases so far this year.

I saw this yarn organizer and leapt with delight. I recently got back into loom knitting after several years away from it. I quickly built up a yarn stash, despite not really having room for all of it. Half of my loveseat and the space in front of it are being consumed by bags from the major yarn stores. This yarn organizer has got to be the thing to take the loveseat back to its proper use. Well...I love it. It came with smaller hooks to put over the door, which is important to me because most hangers make it impossible to close the door all the way. So there's a plus right there. The organizer has zippers on both ends, making it more convenient to get at the yarn on one side without having to dig through the rest. The pockets are large and roomy. The material used to construct the organizer is solid and well put together.I finally have a place that is out of the living room for my yarn!
