I have four Minolta AF lenses, including both versions of the 50/1.7. The only one the aperture control (simply a threaded bolt that sticks up and moves the aperture tab) successfully works on is a Tamron 28-200mm. I suppose you should just save your money for a Sony adapter with electronic contacts!

電子接点の無いオールドレンズは、１つずつ買って、付けっ放しにしています。ミノルタＡＦ、ソニーＡマウント、タムロンＡ、シグマＡの電子接点の有るレンズはLAEA５１つで使い回してます。この商品については緩くもなく、しっかり付いて、必要十分だと思います。

オールドレンズをつけるために購入。メインで使うわけではないため、安いものを購入したが普通に使える。安いのでレンズ側につけっぱなしにしても良さそう。

Bought as an affordable way to try out some Sony A mount lenses on my E Mount a6400. The mount is sturdy and secure. The contacts are not perfectly smooth so over time it has the potential to scratch the connections on your camera and lens if they are attached and removed often. This is why I gave it 4/5 for material. If you plan to leave the mount or lens on long term or just use it occasionally it will be just fine. I will get more E mount lenses eventually so this mount serves my purposes well.

Gracias a este adaptador puedo usar mis lentes tele objetivos en mis camaras modernas y puedo usar mis lentes de montura minolta a sony e mount. La verdad por el precio esta muy bueno. la parte mala es que piedes autofocus. pero su adaptador oficial vale casi 300 dolares para solo tener autofocus. la verdad vale la pena por el precio

The Hoage adapter fits nicely between my Sony A6000 and my Minolta Alpha lenses and the aperture ring allows for a good selection of Fstops. Overall quality is an A+

Perfectly fits Minolta AF lens to Sony A7M2 full frame body (though the description said NO). This adapter mount has no electronic connection with the camera body. Autofocus is impossible. Aperture settings are easy controlled by turning the click numbers from 0 to 7. Since Sony A7M2 has focus peaking, manual shooting is quite an easy job.

Adaptador de sony E -> Minolta, metálico con un anillo que abre y cierra el diafragma por pasos.Hace perfectamente lo que tiene que hacer.Una lástima que ese mismo anillo de apertura desaproveche la posibilidad de funcionar de forma contínua además de por pasos.Por poner una crítica a su diseño.

Works well. Used it to adapt a 1990's Minolta AF 75-300 zoom to a SONY Alpha a6300. Nice build and quality. Of course auto-aperture and auto-focus is disabled with this adapter, but since aperture-priority is the most common parameter to use for creative photography, I simply let the cameras auto-shutter and/or auto-ISO set the exposure.The only problem is that the lens focuses beyond infinity. This could be a problem with the lens, or the adapter could be allowing this, I don't know, but I have to turn the focus ring on the lens back a tiny bit from infinity to focus on the moon.
