This product worked exactly as described, though the base may need some support depending on what you are using it for. The product does not include batteries, so you will need to provide your own. Very easy to use. It is a little noisier than expected, but this was purchased to use on a booth at a busy conference, so the noise wasn't a bother for us.

Everything works well, but it's really noisy, I tried to put it on several different surfaces, but still noisyBut it's super cute and the hamster is very soft and adorable !(and my wheel is purple and not blue)(batteries not included)

It's purple. That's fine but my first one was a gift and essentially fell apart after a few years. I liked it enough to replace it.

Arrived well packaged. Was just what I wanted. Does what it says in the details. It is a little noisy with the plastic underside running over the bars of the wheel, not something you could go to sleep watching. But perfect for my needs.

This Product / Toy is simply elegant and an absolute Joy for the Kids. My Only beef if any, would be, that accessing the Battery compartment is a bit tricky. You have to take out the entire Wheel assembly from the belly of the Hamster and then unscrew the top of battery compartment. This assembly is Velcro-ed to the interior of the Hamster. Needs two AAA Batteries, that are not included.The toy is a battery-powered, ~4 inch long hamster with an exercise wheel for it. Once batteries are inserted into the hamster's gear box and switched on, rear wheels drive / propel the hamster along the track on the inside causing the latter to rotate. We bought it as a Christmas present and it has been an absolute joy to the recipient.

I purchased this for my friend since she's unable to keep a real pet alive, and i figure this just needs batteries. In any case for the price of under $3.00 i felt this was a steal. It's pretty easy to setup, get out of the box and use. You have to pull the battery compartment out via the velcro and use a screwdriver to put in a battery. If there is a negative, i'd say it's the fact it's a screwdriver to take out the battery vs. say using a tab or your hands.The hamster itself has uneven wheels which then makes it walk or waddle like a real thing. You can actually take it out of the hamster wheel and let it run on the carpet/floor and it will waddle around in a cute way.At work everyone we showed loved it and posted videos or pictures on facebook to show how fun it was. One coworker loved it so much she had me buy 30 more to giveaway at a kids birthday party.
