Increasing the performance of your vehicles braking system is easy when you choose Hawk Performance’s HPS braking compound. This unique Ferro-Carbon formula was developed for street performance using the safety and quality of Aerospace and Motorsports severe-duty friction technology. The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads and can provide you 20-40 percent more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Less fade means you’ll have a highly durable brake pad with less brake dust.

Stopping was excellent. The pad worked great except they are extremely dusty. Not a little but very dusty. Caused brakes to start squeaking. This is after a 200 to 300 miles of use with brand new rotors.

I have been using the same part number HP+ pads on my autocross/daily driver car since 2016. They have always performed great and the dust is to be expected. This last set of pads purchased from Amazon were either defective or counterfeit. They throw sparks just driving normal on the road. And the dust they left on the wheels is much more severe to the point that I had to use muriatic acid to get it off which ruins the finish on the wheels but at least they're not black. Very disappointing.

Wrong parts in correct package. I returned them to Amazon and they shipped them right back in the same box. the pads are clearly wrong and dont match the pitcures in the ad.

What more can I say about these pads? They stop very very well, and actually grab harder as the brakes get hotter, instead of fading away with the heat. I was all set to get myself a big-brake kit until I tried these pads. I don't need anything more than this. I'm quite happy with the braking. Dusting is noticable, but a worthwhile trade for the superior braking performance.I highly recommend bedding these pads according to the Hawk procedure. I have always used their method on all brake pads and have never had any issues throughout the life of brake pads. Be sure you use a good brake pad grease or adhesive as well. The stopping power will come with some serious squealing if you don't. I skipped the Hawk grease, and use an adhesive coating that I have always preferred.

I used these pads on my 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, while they are a bit of overkill on the street and it does take a bit more effort - towing or heavy loads have never been easy to stop.On the first voyage, before bedding the pads I was concerned that the pedal effort needed was just too much, after they settled in I am very impressed.

If you need stopping power, nothing is better then Hawk pads.

I've been running these on my 69 Chevelle and have been very satisfied. I find the stopping power to be adequate for my very enthusiastic driving style, they make no noise and my grey wheels show no dust at all. They don't bite too quickly, easy to modulate, but get my nose heavy big block machine stopped with a good push on the manual brakes. I do have an adjustable proportioning valve and had to tweak the front / rear bias to work best with my rear kevlar drum brakes to alleviate early front lock up (as compared to OEM style organic compound pads). Just bought a second set during a front end rebuild, but didn't really need them as the last pair still had about 60% left after several thousand miles. These are great for a modified street car, fine for whoaing things down after a blast down the quarter mile (low 13's), but I'd step up to a race compound if you do track days on road courses.

I bought these to help my old 79 chevy truck get down steep grades with a heavy load a little easier. They work great, my truck stops better, brakes seem to stay cooler, and I know some people complain about extra noise with Hawk brakes, but mine have no extra noise. I would definitely buy again.
