Your cart is empty.Hawk Performance’s HP Plus brake pad compound is ideal for Autocross and Track Day drivers looking for a high performance race compound that can take the heat of the track and get you home safely without having to change the pads. HP Plus utilizes a unique Ferro-Carbon, high-tech friction material that was developed and manufactured for sport driving in autocross, Solo II and “track day” applications. The Ferro-Carbon formulation offers lower wear rates and higher torque values than other competitive materials. Extremely high coefficient of friction makes HP Plus the perfect upgrade over stock for high performance streetcars used in autocross competition or that experience repetitive, heavy braking. Warning: Due to the dramatic friction levels produced by this product to achieve "race-level" braking, rotor wear, noise, dust and pad life may be affected. Note: Hawk Performance burnishes its HP Plus brake pads as a final step in the factory, but all brake pads have to be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) that they will be used against. Properly bedding-in new brake pads results in a transfer film being generated at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance.

I would not buy these again. They do not stop well until you have made a few stops. Then you have a few stops that they work well and they aren't noisy. After those few stops, these things squeal terribly. I don't know how I will tell when it's time to replace them because I won't be able to tell the wear indicator from the normal noise. Yes, I did put the included grease on the back of the pads.Big mistake. If you're OK with everyone thinking you need some new brakes and don't mind doing brake inspections every so often to know if you need new pads or not, then go for it.Oh, and I almost forgot to mention these things are the dirtiest pads I've ever used. After just a few days of driving my wheels were caked with dust. I tried blowing them off with air and no luck, it just created a dust cloud but wouldn't get much off. I like to keep the a Terminator clean but now I need the clean the wheels after every drive.NEVER AGAIN!

HPS+ Work good cold, but amazing when warmed up a little by a mile drive or so. Huge improvement over stock on track days

Great Price, Tried many other sets of pads that made terrible squeaking/squeal. Installed these, I have put about 2000 miles on them without an issue!

I have these pads installed in the 99-04 Mustang GT calipers I have installed on my 1994 Mustang GT. It is a nice upgrade over stock.

Installed on a 1990 Corvette ZR-1. No noise at all on the street, stops well. Did an autocross this weekend and no issues.We'll see how they hold up at an HPDE.

Got these for my 2000 GT with upgraded Corba brakes. These pads are quiet when cold or hot. They are smooth and well behaved at cold temps and they are there for you when you need to stop at high speeds. Warm them up with some 70-30mph slow downs and they act like mean race brakes. Best of both worlds. Plus no dust if any when doing daily driving. Honestly these are the best pads you could ever run.

These seem to be very good pads but have only been on the car 2 weeks so review is difficult but expectations are high. I'd recommend if your are not getting new rotors definitely have your rotors turned (machined).
