These are great at the track - much stronger bite, no brake fade issues when configured properly, and long lasting (got 7+ track days out of one set whereas OEM pads do not even last for 1).These have the usual compromises of a track pad: substantially more dust and potential for loud squealing noises. The noises fade after a proper bedding (or, in my case, after track use), though the burnished layer on the discs comes and goes depending on usage patterns. Don't be surprise if the squeal fades out only to show up again later. Mine often showed up after track days and then faded out again. You will see both of these problem with all track pads, so they should not be knocked for this. The best you can do is properly bed them in.

Great initial bite 4/5, modulation is perfect 5/5 very linear the formula by hawk used for these pads are perfect in this respect I can modulate right btwn the threshold of locking up and maximum brake out of my tires, great brake torque 4/5, fade resistance 4.5/5 better than most general pads, but anything beyond safe and sane street driven habits these pads fade, but for the spirited street driving these are great pads, I rate these pads for what there advertised for and that is for spirited street driving, not as grippy as axxis ultimates but great widely available. axxis ultimate/ pbr euro/ stoptech are getting hard to find, the axis pads have a very smooth but sharp rise in torque with pedal pressure, still easy to modulate but has a smaller margin for error, the axis pads are of the softer sacrificial material type of pad if you want cleaner wheels get the 5.0 but if you want best street pads get the axxis pads plus they are cheaper.

If I could give 6 stars I could. With 225k on my Si, I just thought the brakes were the weakest link of my car. Tried other brand names but NONE of them come even close to these Hawk pads! Finally I have brake pedal feel and firmness that have never been present on my car. Would buy for the rest of the car’s life if possible. Great bite, great feel and solid pedal feedback. No issues with fitment and minimal break in time. Love them!

Ok so after much research although trough much advertising Hype from Hawk they are stillD.O.T. FF rated ( v/s GG ) I decided to give these Hawks a try. Its been about 2300 miles on them and I am Pleased. They have a more aggressive initial, and longer bite with less fade than the O.E.M. the ones ( in other words; the car comes to a stop Sooner w/o brake lock up ) My driving style is much faster (Ahem) more spirited than most. I have yet to try them on the track so unable to comment regarding that.I would purchase again! Its your or someone else s life never cheap out on brakes or tires.

I have had these products before. The bite on the pads is excellent. Shipper sent the package shipped rather terribly in my opinion where the pads were not held in place in box with any popcorn or anything and did a lot of sliding around inside. Contacted the seller which didn't charge me for pads because of the issue. The product looked okay but 3 months later and 3,000 miles later these brakes that came in are awful. They squeal and dust worse than OEM and semi metallic pad. Unfortunately, seller has passed me down to HAWK corporate to deal with so now the process is elongated. Product good, packaging from seller 50 50. I would recommend getting new pads sent to you if your original purchase comes terribly packaged because even if the parts look good something may not be right as in my current experience.

These brake pads (front only) are as good or better than OEM (which is saying a lot), at least on the street. I will write back after I take them to the track, where my cheaper set of Wagner pads were fried to a crisp in moderate weather and heavy use although they had plenty of thickness left. The Hawk pads bite better initially and delivery strong grip without affecting pedal feel. I changed front rotors at the same time and broke the pads in according to the instructions.

I bought those for my S2000 Honda. They brake very well but let me tell ya, they're hella noisy, and I mean not just noisy, but ridiculously noisy. In fact, so noisy everyone is looking over their shoulder to see what the hell is going on. They are probably louder than a big rig. People ask me when was the last time I changed my brakes and have this blank stare when I say "two months ago", they thought it's time for me to change my old, worn out brakes. The brakes are especially noisy right before you do a complete stop, at 5-10 mph. They're not noisy if you are on the freeway, braking at 40-70 mph. These brakes are for the race track but I absolutely do not recommend them on the street. Unless you want to annoy the hell out of everybody. The noise is simply ridiculous.Yet, I'm giving them 5 stars because the brakes are very good, just that I bought them for the wrong reason.

Got these pads for my S2000 for this year's HPDE season. Here's what I think...Pro: Excellent stopping power, excellent pedal feel, good heat resistance (more than enough for HPDE 1)Con: Dust, noises at street speeds/pedal applicationFor my current needs, the HP+ are perfect. During my last track day, they didn't fade and stopped reliably lap after lap. Take for granted I am in HPDE 1, I wasn't going that fast. However, the HPS I used last year started fading after only 3 laps on the same track. Pedal feel is firm, and easily modulated. Stopping power is much better than stock pads (same tires). I couldn't find a single fault on the track for the HP+ pads. Now, on the street... They squeal, a lot, especially during light brake pressure. And dust. My front wheels are black after 1.5 months of driving, with couple of track days thrown in the middle.I am willing to deal with those for track performance. If you are only going to use this pad for street driving, HPS would be the better choice. Track, HP+ all the way.
