Pads for the rear of my 2000 VR6 GTI. Great pads, have used the HPS for years. Low dust, quiet and gentle on rotors. I was a little concerned that i was getting the correct pads as they list these as ceramic. I knew the number for my application was correct so I went ahead with the purchase. These pads are the HPS made of ferro-carbon.

i had akebono before this and they were on my car for quite a while then i decided to upgrade my my rotors to cross drilled vented and so i did my pads to this hawks hps and they grab when hot but when cold or wet like in a rainy day gotta be careful.they are very low dust but squeal like crazy which akebono never did. my pedal with this feels spongy/smushy and i cant stand it but i have to live with it until i get the founds to ditch this in the trash.BTW. i did the bedding procedure and got this from hawk website which was better explained than the one printed in the box.

These fit my 2002 Audi A4 1.8T quattro without any problems. No built in sensor, but the stock pads didn't have one either.Less brake dust than stock.
