I did this project with my 5 yo niece who is really into headbands. She loved the colorful gems headband and bows. She put one together in about two hours and was thoroughly delighted with the result. One ding is that the box says it includes a plastic tray to hold the jewels, but there was no plastic tray. It also said there was a glue pen, but there was no pen, just individual glue dots. We used a paper plate instead of the tray. The dots were OK for a 5 yo to manipulate. This would be a good group activity at a party.
