Overall, not bad especially for the price! Does get hot on the underside and there are not clear instructions on what, if anything to put underneath. Works well for my ironing projects. Id recommend!

I've gotten into sewing lately and invested in a mini-iron, and this is the perfect sewing mat for it. I bought an inexpensive tray table and put this on top of it and it's a perfect set up. The mat is slightly smaller than a standard tray table, but plenty big enough for pressing seems, ironing on interfacing, etc. I've even accidentally ironed interfacing onto the mat and it peels right off.

This heat press mat did take a bit of time to arrive but I am very pleased with it's quality. It is a good size and thick! Works well and is a great value!

Much less hassle than ironing board or table top ironing board, convenient, works well. This is absolutely so much better than fiddling with my other ironing boards when I want to work on a craft project where I need to iron on a patch or letters or an emblem. No fussing about and can put it pretty much where its easy for ME to work and not for the board to have to work. I can work at the kitchen counter, a wooden finished table top, over the washer or dryer, or even the bed - but I prefer a harder undersurface so that my pressing won't have any effects of squishing the surface underneath the mat. This is a good value for anyone who needs a good, transportable, more flat-type (instead of legs that just get in the way), ironing surface. Its durable and has a decently large work surface.

Great mat for use with a portable heat press or iron - big enough to use with some of the larger presses. Some heat does get through, but I always put a magazine under any pad that I use anyway, so that's not really an issue at all, at least for me.

This is very large and perfect. I have another one that is smaller and when I use the hand press, sometimes my stuff hangs out. This one is great. I do have to be careful because I tend to ruin them because I’ll forget to put parchment paper in the bottom.This is very thick. It reminds me of the ones on ironing boards. It is not so thick that it is hard, it feels like a flat pillow. It is good value for the money as my other one cost the same and it was smaller.I have also use it on my bigger heat press where you just press and wait without using your hands. So it functions in more way than anticipated.It is easy to use. It works straight out of the package. I like it and recommend it.

I am very pleased with this Heat Press Mat overall.The larger size comes in handy especially for my Cricut Easy Press or when I use an iron for projects.The only reason I deducted one star was I wish it were a little thicker. I noticed when I used my Easy Press it did get warm on the underneath side of it, so I had to add a towel since I was working on top of my kitchen table as not to allow too much heat through the top of my table, but other than that it worked really well.Pretty firm, but a little give to it.Generous 17.5" x 13.5" allows room for plenty of projects.Double-sided. Stitched fabric.Priced at $12.99 (at time of posting this 04/24/25) makes this an affordable addition to your craft room.
