I was looking to replace my rarely used, cheap, 30 year old folding chairs as I'm going to more family reunions. I found one I liked but my boyfriend is on the heavy side so I continued to look and came across these. They are wider in the seat and have sturdy arms. Not being used to camping chairs, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how it opened. Then I found the strap. It wasn't until I was packing up the plastic shipping protection that I found the instructions. I will say it folded up easier than it unfolded. The only negative I have is that I'm only 5 feet so my feet don't touch the ground when sitting. The metal arms seem very sturdy.

I really love this chair! I am glad I got it. The only thing I wish was different, is that I wish there was a deep pocket attached to the back to hold extra stuff. Other than that, this chair worked perfect for me. It definitely was sturdy enough to hold me and I wasn’t stressed about it collapsing under my weight.

This chair does seem to be very well made with sturdy fabric, and heavy duty arms & legs. However, it weighs a ton (yeah, I shoulda ready the description) but much more than any other camp chair I've ever lifted. There also is zero lumbar support. It might not bother others, but I may end up returning it. Gonna try watching TV in it tomorrow and see what I think after using it for an hour or so.

Holy Scooby Snacks, Batman!! This chair is HEAVY!! I mean HEAVY!! The. Chair. Is. Heavy. It’s also hard to open and hard to close. There are instructions, but who woulda thunk they would need instructions to open and close a camp chair? It seems sturdy. So far, it also seems comfortable, at least for the brief period I sat in it. I also want to make sure I include in this review that the chair is incredibly heavy. Luckily it comes with a bag that has a big enough strap so that 2 people can carry it. However, you can put a check in the “win column” because it would probably take gale force winds to move it. It would be awesome if it came in more colors. Didn’t arrive when it was supposed to and never received notice that it was going to be late. The description reads shipped from/by Amazon, so I’ll blame them and not the seller. The chair is heavy.
