I thought "heavy duty" would have been a little heavier. Fine for what it is but I was looking for something that was a little bulkier.

Its what it says it is, its pretty strong seeming and smooth, just the color isnt quite what the pictures look like. I was hoping for a brown closer to the red end of the spectrum like the display photos but its almost green with being such a yellowish brown. Not a dealbreaker though. quick arrival and good price

This is very nice webbing, I quite happy with it. I would classify it as lightweight, durable and strong. It is quite flexible and easy to work it. It cuts with regular scissors and I sealed the end with a lighter with no problems. It also sews perfect on my regular Singer sewing machine. There were no slices in my 10-yard spool.Construction: I know there a multitude of different Military webbing grades so I’m not sure which one the seller is referencing. This is a plain flat weave webbing with a relatively fine weave. I have other nylon webbing with a coarser texture. It measured 0.0445 inches thick and 1.4375 inches wide. It fits great in the 1-1/2-inch buckles I have. It lays flat with no curvature or twist and the edges (selvage) don’t have any twist or waviness. The edge is well locked and it doesn’t come apart.Dark black color is even and consistent throughout the roll. It is similar in weight or slightly heavier than seat belt material. Weaving is very consistent with no variation in width. Plain weave is same on front and back with no prominent pattern.I would buy again.

The webbing measures slightly less than 1 1/2" wide letting it work with 1 1/2" hardware without folding or bunching. It has a very smooth and fine weave and looks much nicer than webbing with a rougher surface. My 25 yard roll came sealed in cellophane and has no cardboard on the back to support it so I put it into a flat box right away to keep the roll from coming apart. The roll is continuous with no splices or cuts. The blue color isn't as bright as it looked online. It is lighter than navy but darker than royal. It is an attractive color.I plan to use the webbing for handles for bags and totes as well as straps to keep equipment neatly stored. It is thin enough to be sewn with a regular domestic sewing machine and looks like it will wear well over time. One hint - be sure to singe the cut ends immediately after cutting or it will ravel like crazy. I like to cut and treat all the pieces I will need out in the driveway (to avoid inhaling any fumes) and singe them by quickly running the cut edge back and forth through the flame of a candle right away. After a few seconds the ends are cool enough to put down without having them stick to the table. Treated like this nylon webbing won't ravel at all. If I were doing commercial production I'd invest in a hot knife to cut the webbing while it was resting on a heavy piece of tempered glass for a really clean look. However I find that if I'm careful about how long the webbing is in contact with the candle flame I can get a very smooth edge.Great quality webbing in an attractive color.
