Shungite comes exclusivley from a mine close to the small village of Shunga in Karelia, a region in Northern Europe. Shungite has been used for centuries by the local people there as a healing stone, a token of goodwill, to intensify meditation, and other spiritual rituals. The crystal however, offers more than just metaphysical effects. The physical effects of this gorgeous black crystal is that due to its high carbon content it is an ideal water filter. Our Shungite Water Chips are precisely used for cleansing water, cleaning it of impurities and negative vibes, while giving an infusion of pure positivity into your tall, cool glass of water.
WATER PURIFICATION
Our Elite Shungite and Shungite water stones are great as multipurpose decor! However, they are actually best used for one purpose - as water purifier crystals. The high carbon content of Shungite is the perfect water filter. And aside from cleaning your water of impurities, it can also help you balance your mental and physical state. For best practices, clean your Shungite by boiling it for 10 - 15 minutes. Once cool, place the rocks in water, 50-70g / 1L overnight, enjoy a cool, crisp glass of water! Stay hydrated!
POSITIVE VIBES!
Putting your Shungite outside on a sunny day is an ideal method to cleanse and help your Shungite refocus its vibes. Cleansing and recharging your Shungite is one of the key factors to ensure you always have a positive experience with it, as well as always being available to soak up any stray negative vibes. It also likes earth, so if it's gloomy outside, you can always bury in the ground it for a few hours.
INCENSE TREATMENT
A more involved process to cleanse your Shungite is through ritual smudging. Take a stick of Sage, Lavender, or Palo Santo, for example, and just like you would with any smudge stick, light one side on fire, once gently burning, blow out the fire, and using the smouldering tip which should now be trailing smoke, waft around your Shungite. This is also a good practice to pair with meditating.
STARRY NIGHT...
Being a black stone, Shungite has been associated with night, which adds a bit of mystery and intrigue to the stone. Turns out, Shungite does enjoy the night-time. If you feel your Shungite could use a bit of a boost, wait for a clear night, with a bright moon, once the weather conditions are adequate, leave your Shungite under the moonlight overnight. The next day it should be as fresh as the morning dew...

This is nothing like the photo. There are no stones in this. It is a total scam and this product should be removed from Amazon. This is such a pain to return. I have to drive 10 miles for a UPS drop point. So disappointed that this garbage is on Amazin

Good product but I was shopping for enough shungite to treat a gallon of water and this is only enough for a glass full of water for 20$

Wow these are not only expensive but they are not 50 g. Mine are 39 g to be exact. 4 super tiny stones and only 1 is as big as the ones in their picture. Would not buy again from this company.
