Installing this shield on my Scorpion EXO R420 helmet isn't as smooth and easy as the OEM shield, but once on, it functions as it shouldThe chrome silver finish looks good, but more importantly, the thickness of this shield is THICKER than the OEM shield! As you can see from the OEM shield, it measures 79.5 mil versus this aftermarket shield at 91.5 mil. That little bit of a difference may not sound like much, but I was very happy to see it. Who knows, it might make the difference when a rock flies up and hits the shied straight on...For the price, this really is a good alternative to the OEM shield - and it may actually be safer! Also, it looks cool!This shield is 91.5 mil vs the OEM shield at 79.5 mil

Fit is perfect and the color is nice and vibrant. Installation was smooth and easy. Definitely recommend!
