In addition to the flute, which I seldom play, this works for my Benge piccolo trumpet and also for my DEG Eb trumpet, which has a smaller bell throat and won't fit on my regular trumpet stands.

This screws into one of the holes in the Hercules Sax stand, so I can now have two saxes and the clarinet on the stand together.

My son plays multiple instruments for his school bands and these Hercules stands are perfect and durable (folded and unfolded multiple times for transport) for him to be able to put his instruments on so they are ready for him to pick up and play. We also purchased the Hercules DS502B Flute/Clarinet Peg to go on the Hercules DS533BB Alto/Tenor Sax + 1 Soprano SX ST stand. I would recommend these stands, they have definitely met expectation and beyond as other students have borrowed them as well.

Screw is 3/8 vs 1/4 in my stand, so I had to drill th hole bigger. Even doing that, tbe peg holds my clarinet very safely.

The peg hold my clarinet well. The mounting screw is 3/8", not 1/4.and I could not find an adaptor. So I had to modify the stand.

Bought this peg to put on a triple Hercules stand (which is also excellent)for supporting a piccolo trumpet.Works brilliantly with my piccolo trumpet's bell fitting nicely. Product is easy to fit to the stand, is solid, and is soft to the touch so will not scratch your instrument.

I put my clarinet on it. It works. Clarinet is happy on it. I am happy with clarinet on this peg. Clarinet fits on it and is easily removed. Play in a theater pit orchestra. Only difficulty is pit is dark and peg is not easily found sometimes.

This peg fits perfectly into both my Bb and C clarinets, and quickly screws into one of the provided holes in my Hercules DS533 sax stand.The DS533 holds a tenor or alto sax, and then has two holes that can take two other pegs--flute, clarinet, or soprano sax.The pegs quickly screw out and the stand folds up into a net package in seconds. The only thing I wish for is a case with shoulder strap for it.

Excellent for building custom instrument stands.I used this and another (flute/picolo peg) to build stands for family members. Select a wood, use a threaded insert from a hardware store, finish, and voila! a custom stand. Use in multiples for musicians that play more than one instrument during a concert or practice session.Delivery was also timely and accurate.

There's really not anything complicated to say about it. It's a peg that screws into the Hercules saxophone stand legs. It's covered in velvet and holds your clarinet or flute with safety and ease. For my university's production of Hello Dolly, I purchased the sax stand and ordered two pegs, and it was a huge lifesaver. Now, I have a stand and pegs for jazz and other future uses. It's well worth it.
