Easy to use, fits nicely in a regular kitchen drawer. I use it a ton to smash garlic and lemongrass.

I grew up (now 60 yo) using the American standard rolling pin and will always use it...... BUT, these little European style pins are magnificent. They are far more capable in the manner of control than a standard pin. When you really want to control what your dough is doing and where it needs to go...... use this pin. You will only understand once you use it.In regards to the pin itself..... the wood used is high grade, hard and easy to clean. I am very pleased. If you are on the fence..... buy it!

If you have even a little arthritis this is not the rolling pin for you. I had to use my full hands to roll it and my hands were very sore after using this. Its also very thin so you need to wrk it hard. I just ordered another rolling pin with the handles.

We already had a heavy marbled one and thought that’s all we needed. Turns out we thought we’d try out a wooden one knowing it was going to be lighter and also noticed with our marble one that if we’re not careful what we’re making either sticks to it more or it’s flattens way too much. Great kitchen staple.
