This clamping set is substandard. The plastic holder is not made for this smaller set so some pieces will fall out. The biggest problem with this set is that the four smaller step block pairs have ill-formed teeth. Instead of engaging and locking against each other (or the hold down teeth) the opposing blocks will slip as pressure is applied to secure the setup and the setup will collapse. I thought at first that I must have gotten a bad set so I asked for a replacement set. The replacement set was identical to the original set. Same ill-formed smaller step blocks. The two largest step block pairs are well made and lock well. The rest of the clamping set is pretty much good quality. However, even if the whole set were of standard or better quality it still would not be worth $169 - it would be worth about $50 to $70 at best.

Needed a 10mm T-slot clamping set and there weren't many to be found. Fit and finish of the clamps, studs, T-rail inserts, and bolts look good. Was relatively clean without excess grease / coatings.The case though is a big disappointment for this price point. Bolt slots (as pictured) are oversized and do not hold bolts. Center step clamps slot is too small for the largest clamps (as pictured).Does it work? Sure. Would I buy again? No. Certainly not at this price point.
