This works well with the S&S 107 engine. Screwed right on and matches all the chrome. Was hesitant at first but will be ordering this again when I do my frequent oil changes.

Been using these for years, but getting them locally. Better price online. No complaints at all.

This filter is a quality internal built filter you can trust on your H-D & never have to worry about whether it's doing it job or not. I've cut them apart before & the media inside is high end, abundant & put together well including the anti drainback valve. The only thing missing that would seriously improve it would be an external nut on the end to make easier to remove. Other than that I can say the chrome holds up well & it's never failed me on my high compression Harley motor.

I questioned a tech at Hiflo about the lack of a anti drain back valve. He responded with an excellent explanation. I'll never use anything but Hiflo filters."We have seen filters blown off by pressure, oil coming out of the air box due to pressure, oil filter seams unravel and oil spraying out of the hole in the seam due to pressure when using the twin cam filter on an evo bike. The problem is that the EVO engine with the correct oil filter will run regardless of how the oil leads are hooked up...it will run with the oil flowing in either direction. If the oil is flowing the wrong direction and an twin cam filter is installed, the oil stops at the anti drain back valve and pressure builds until the oil finds its way out (as listed above plus many more) or the engine seizes. Because we have seen the above, we only warranty the use of our HD filters as the OE number is listed not the upgrade you are showing me below. I saw the quote you are showing for the first time in 99 (back then it said super premium 10 micron) and HD had so many of the above problems that it was no longer listed in the 2000 catalog. The newer bikes may not have this problem (the factory may have fixed the assembly issue with the oil leads) but an unknown number (but many thousands) of EVO's out there have the oil flowing in the wrong direction so we cannot recommend or cover the usage of a Twin Cam filter on and EVO engine."

HiFlo Filters are one of the Best filters you can buy. My only disappointment is, No Anti Drainback valve. I'm trading my HD Street 750 for a 18 Sportster Custom 1200. Not familiar with the Evo Engines. Will the lack of an Anti Drainback Valve matter? Guess I'll find out. I have used their filters on previous motorcycles. Never had a problem with the quality.
