As measured using NetSpot WiFi Analyzer app, this did not provide anywhere near a 12db gain. It was no better than the antenna's that came with the Intel AX210 WiFi card. Did it work, yes. Did it provide any better performance, no.

Love how low profile it is and it’s reallly nice to install and I do like that it’s magnetic on the bottom

Bought this to boost WIFI signal reception in RV campgrounds and regional parks. Took it out for the first time last week and it performed Extremely well! I am using this Antenna with a NETGEAR M6 PRO. Had to find in the NETGEAR Manual that you have to use the feature called WIFI offloading (should be called WIFI sharing DUH) You have to download and use their Mobile app to even get to a WIFI selection mode. Anyways with proper setup of the NETGEAR M6 Pro, this antenna at home boots its signal and Instead of seeing the usual 5 WIFI networks in my neighborhood, I see as many as 18 with this antenna connected. Taking it on the road in my travel trailer, I use the NETGEAR M6 Pro as my WIFI for my Amazon TV, Roku, Laptops, phones, all use my NETGEAR M6 PRo. With this antenna attached I can then attach 1 device to the RV Parks WIFI. (some places charge by how many connected devices.) This Antenna gave me about the max WIFI connection. from 1 without the antenna to 3 bars with. Also to note, Using Verizon Cell signal and T-Mobile Cell signal, from the NETGEAR M6 PRO, IMO, this antenna seemed to boost those signals as well. I camped at a park with no WIFI but Cell signal 1 bar. This antenna then gave me up to 3-4 BARS cell signal. One other thing to mention though is I could not achieve this until I pointed the antenna in a certain direction. Obviously omnidirectional Antenna. I am very pleased with my purchase! for $25 bucks you can't beat this antenna vs. the others out there asking way more. My only drawback would be the lack of length of cable on the antenna. it could be longer than 6 feet.

Bought this because of poor reception in my upstairs floor of my house. I was lucky before I bought this to get 200 megs. Now I’m getting pretty close to full speed all the time.

I can't see where it has any more gain than the two include pole antennas that came with the PC adapter. I checked it on all 3 bands and the results were nearly the same as the two pole antennas that came with the 6E WiFI PC adapter. At least it is not worse than the original antennas. The ability to reposition it to a higher location is a plus. I compared the receiving signal gain using the Acrylic WiFi Analyzer where I can actually read the signal strength in dB. on all 3 bands. What bothered me about the advertising of this unit is that it shows WIFI 6E in large print on the side of the antenna unit, but underneath in tiny print it says "2.4G/5G Antenna". You can see it in the photo on Amazon. No mention of 6 GHz (except in the ad).So although it does not decrease the effectiveness of the signal, I can't say that it increases the signal and thus is not worth the extra $$$.
