Works great with my Ludwig classic drum kit with the bass drum legs which recess into the drum! No moving when playing hard on carpet surface!

Generally, I ma satisfied buy thios product because my hi-hat is not moving anymore but you need also a non slipery rug-carpet. What I ask to be improved by the manufacturer is the fastening on the hardware for the black plastic, this must be done in 2 places not just only one place for fixing and with a plastic ear.

I've recently adapted my old early 80's Rogers kit with a rack [which I'm really enjoying BTW]. Obviously I removed the mounted toms and put them on the rack. While this took some stress off of the bass drum, it also made it lighter so it started scooting across the drum rug during gigs. I tried several quick fixes but wasn't satisfied. I stumbled onto these Kbrakes Histops and voila - problem solved. While they are pricey [hence the 4 stars] they have been worth it to me. Now I focus on playing and not where the bass drum is going to end up! I recommend these highly.

My hi-hat doesn’t move. Period. Works great. Fit on my hi hat feet (Ludwig atlas pro) easily. Also bought the smooth surface adaptors and that works flawlessly too.I have all the k-brakes products now and they all have been a blessing. No more nasty drum rugs for gigs!
