This is a quality piece of kit. It sturdy enough to give precise, accurate results. it is not die cast or stamped junk (which far to many other manufacturers turn out). If Hitachi keeps putting out this quality of product it will soon become the measure for home craftsman tools.

I’m going with a 5 Star on the product because it does the job as advertised. I would have preferred to have spent a little more on a guide that had the same features as the Bosch, Dewalt, or Makita offer allowing for better dust collection and adjustability. The product works well, and gets used periodically with my projects. Not a pro grade product by any means.

Guide works well and attaches to the router perfectly. Not sure why some think it is flimsy, seems better built that other guides I have used on other routers.

Fit perfectly in my km12vc plunge base. Some reviews stated it seemed flimsy. Don't let that stop you from buying. Not sure what other people are doing with their routers, but this is plenty sturdy. Also, I found two screws and an allen key in a bag in my router kit that worked perfectly for securing the rails to the base. I'm pretty sure all the router kits like mine came with them.

I have not actually used this yet, but it fits very nice on my router base. Easy to adjust. Seems very well made.

This product arrived on time but the first one mass missing one of the guide rods. As usual, Amazon promptly replaced the incomplete unit and replaced with a new one with free one day shipping. Although this product does not look as sturdy or as "high tech" as some of the other manufacturers straight edge guides in performs well. The only thing one could ask for is a gauge to show how far your are from the edge of a piece of work.

Kinda cheesy. very basic. If i knew what others would fit i would of looked at them as this unit could use some refinments. but it does get the job done.construction is decent but it is not a thing of beauty.
